Visual Identity, Event Campaign, Print / July 2019
Mocked up as an accordion style brochure for easier viewing, this was designed as an 8-fold zine in B&W for quick and cheap printing. After hand-folding these bad boys with the Beacon team, we scattered them around PDX to promote Tan Lines Festival!
Beacon Quarterly is a magazine based in Portland, Oregon that focuses on artistic spaces and draws contributors from around the world. They released their ninth issue with the all day event Tan Lines Festival.

While interning for Yurgosky, I developed a new visual identity for them while keeping their existing logo and fonts. I used programs Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create mock-ups and coded in HTML, CSS & JS.

Speculative design project based on the future of urban farming because of climate change.
How is our changing climate affecting the future of urban farms?
Where are we now, and where are we headed?
Brand Identity / December 2018-present
Creating a brand identity for myself. Website is self-designed, coded, and maintained. Business cards are self-designed and screen-printed. Logo was a happy accident created in messing with the percentages of SVG's in an HTML document.
I originally started with a Square Space website in a grid theme landing page. I was very amused by the analytics of how viewers interacted with the site and which pages & pieces they were most attracted to. I found that I was getting more clicks on older work, and paintings- things I don't really identify my practice with anymore but didn't want to remove from the site. And my newer work maybe didn't have a thumbnail image that fully depicted it's contents. After my internship with Yurgosky and having the opportunity to code a fully functioning company site from start to finish, I decided that the best way for me to get everything I want out of my own portfolio site, was to code it!
Originally against the idea, I ended up going with a single scroll layout. I know, lots of scrolling. But I played with it. Maybe you saw my name and the 5 word 'about' line and thought there wasn't actually any work on the site. Maybe you scrolled for a bit and got to a larger title, had a blank page on your screen and thought it was over then, but maybe you're still scrolling and might view all of the things! Either way, I've had a lot of fun creating this website and hearing people's experiences in interacting with it and about my work. Looking forward to hearing yours :-)

Book Design + Print / November 2018
Written in Bulgarian, a memoir about my life growing up in two countries followed by a recipe from my grandma.
New York City, Las Vegas, PDX....
Commissioned by non-profits, indie magazines, and local businesses to put together live screen printing events. This included everything from designs to the entire screen printing production. I create the designs to be printed, menu + order forms for the event and prepare the screens. With a team, we take orders from customers at the event activation and complete orders.

How might we alleviate the emotional effects on families after natural disasters?
After learning about the future of our climate and the effects on urban environments, our research led us to natural disasters and the effects they have on a community. We partnered up with the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, Wojciech Gilewicz, did field research, and spoke with survivors of Hurricane Sandy in The Far Rockaways.
The feedback we got was that while most people weren’t prepared, there isn’t much you can do to be prepared for a natural disaster. Food and water will get to you eventually, but you are left with the lasting emotional effects. As artists, we can offer relief from art therapy through coloring and collaging to elicit the same mindset as meditating. We planned and branded post-disaster art therapy collaging events for anyone experiencing after effects.
Unfortunately, in the midst of our project, the wildfires hit in California. We decided to base our art therapy event around the recent natural disaster. We partnered up with Dylan Gauthier and The Sunview Luncheonette in Greenpoint to fundraise for the California Wildfire Relief Fund. We held our art therapy collaging brunch and prepared screen printed apparel to raise over $300 for the fund.
